We’ve been fortunate to work with some of the greatest mountain sports athletes in the world over the years, and that was no exception on our expedition to Antarctica.
We assisted Jimmy Chin on expedition to the most remote peak in the world, Mount Tyree, and brought Marmot’s latest Warm Cube Technology to test its warmth on the fiercest peak on the continent.

Working on assignment in Antarctica with Jimmy Chin, Conrad Anker, Hillaree Nelson and Jim Morrison was a wild and intimidating experience. The best of the best, all huddled together in a dome tent in the most remote and inhospitable environment on earth.
We all climbed the tallest peak on the continent in a day via the central ice couloir (a 2nd ascent), and then made our way to Mt. Tyree to try for the first ski descent of the 2nd tallest peak. Avalanche conditions turned us away after high camp, but it was a magical week-long experience out there under the Tyree massif.
